Creating Meaning 

.A sign can be any physical form to which we give meaning, including words, pictures, colours, clothes, etc..

My subject position is a female 13 yr old white straight not rich student from Cornwall.

An equestrian would see this as very cool because most people know Laura Collett as she won badminton 2022 

A non equestrian would probally find this boring as they dont know much about her or horses.

denotation-the dictionary definition

connotation-the deeper meaning-what we associate with the word.

Gun-someones probally gonna get killed or injured 

Clown-people find them scary and some people find them funny

Thor-some people dont know who he is but people think of superheros.

LO-to analyse texts using the correct terminology 

.the colour palette is very bold and bright 

.the font is very bold and pops out

.the backdrop is very basic but eye catching 

-The costumes in the secrets of Dumbledore look quite old fashioned and there all like dark colours so i would say this was probably based in the oldish days.

-Their facial expressions are all quite serious and concentrated which shows there doing something important.

-They have wand props which shows us that they are most likely wizards and witches.

-There aren't many colours but theres a very bright orange phoenix which is very eye catching to the viewers.
