film posters
lo-to analyse a historical film poster effectively
context-at the start of the 20th century many film depictions of minority ethnic groups supported the dominant stereotypes of time; to be pitied to be laughed at , the exotic and/or dangerous
while society was progressing towards racial equality by the 1970s some of these stereotypes were still in evidence in mainstream films
in addition it is interesting to consider the poster in the context of the move towards gender equality and increased women's rights in 1960s and 70s
Stereotypes-men being the ones holding guns doing work, women stood there to look pretty for the men.Spys and explosions for the action genre
Representations of genders-women are seen as objects for the men wearing very little clothes to show off.Men are the ones in control with guns and causing explosions.
Represenattions of ethnicity-All are white theres no coloured people or people of ethnicity
Representations issues and events-reflects the energy crisis that happened around the same time this was made including images of power plants etc
Feminist perspective(male gaze theory).

social interaction-website,poster,trailers,billboards,merch
The website uses personal identity because there is trailer and poster which shows characters people can aspire to be like and look up to.It shows information because there is a section all about the information on the film.Entertainment applies because there is videos and images for people to watch and show an intrest in.Social interaction they have social media links and people will be talking about it.
The audience would find entertainment in this trailer. This can be see through action packed scenes such as the building exploding, car chases, the room filling up with water nearly drowning the man , gun fights and multiple fires. This keeps the audience interested as they are eager to know what happens next drawing them into watching the whole film
